The 54th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP), announced by Caesars, will take place from May 30 to July 18, 2024. This will be the second year that WSOP Nevada is held on the Vegas Strip.

In the press release, Ty Stewart, the senior vice president and executive director of the World Series of Poker, said:

“The historical premiere of the WSOP on the Las Vegas Strip was a grand success and we’re thrilled to reveal our summer 2024 dates just in time for the holiday season. Poker enthusiasts and followers can now formally set their schedules and perhaps even plan a trip to the WSOP as a holiday present for their loved ones or themselves. We’re delighted to return to Paris Las Vegas and the upcoming Horseshoe Las Vegas for another exhilarating chapter in the tournament’s history. Both these resorts set high standards in hosting last year’s event.”

Events will take place at both Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. Horseshoe is the rebranded name for Bally’s Las Vegas. The property’s renovations and rebranding will be finished by year’s end.

The casino has introduced a new design aesthetic and a new WSOP poker room at Horseshoe.

WSOP Caesars main event begins July 3

The 54th annual Caesars WSOP official schedule will be released next year. The $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, also known as “the main event,” will be making a comeback.

The WSOP Main Event will have four starting flights on July 3, 4, 5, and 6.

In the main event this year, a total of 8,662 players took part. Espen Jorstad emerged victorious, securing the first-place prize of $10 million and the much sought-after WSOP bracelet. Adrian Attenborough finished in second place, losing to Jorstad in a head-to-head match. He still managed to take home $6 million.

The 2022 WSOP tournament broke records with 197,626 participants and a massive prize pool of $347.9 million.

Next year, WSOP will bring back many favorite events. Additionally, as always, there will be some new poker tournaments.

The first mystery bounty event of last summer was a phenomenal success, attracting 14,112 participants. Professional poker player Matt Glantz emerged victorious, pocketing the $1,000,000 bounty.
