Expanded Caesars Sports App Coming To Nevada

The new Caesars Sports App in Nevada will have expanded betting menu and more

Sports betting apps in Nevada are generally less advanced than those in other states. However, later this year, sports bettors in the Silver State will finally have access to an app that matches the quality of those available to players outside of Nevada.

At present, Caesars utilizes a distinct app in Nevada, the Caesars Sportsbook by William Hill app. This app deviates from what the company provides in most other states where sports betting is legal. Essentially, it is a replica of the William Hill Nevada sports betting app.

Eric Hession, co-president of Caesars Digital, unveiled plans for the latest version of the Caesars Sports app during the company’s recent earnings call.

Looking forward to the latter half of the year, we anticipate several substantial improvements to our products for our customers in crucial areas like the speed of cash withdrawal, customer service, and offerings of parlay and alternative lines.

We also plan to transition all of our Caesars-branded apps and sportsbooks to our Liberty tech stack by the end of 2022.

The key for sports bettors in Nevada lies in the final sentence of this quote. All markets where Caesars operates a sportsbook app will have access to its latest mobile technology.

Look for the new Caesars Sports app by the end of 2022

Hession did not provide a specific date for when Nevada sports bettors will have access to the latest version of the Caesars Sports app. However, he did give a timeframe for its availability.

The Caesars Sports app may not be ready for the start of the college and professional football seasons in the coming weeks. Nonetheless, if Hession’s projection of a late 2022 release stands, Nevada-based football gamblers should be able to use the new app before the season concludes.

Despite the introduction of new menus and betting options, Caesars and other sportsbook operators in Nevada focus on the football season to update their mobile apps and physical locations, wherever football fans may be watching the games.

Football is the king of sports betting in Nevada

The football season is a critical period for sportsbook operators. It is usually the most active season for sports gamblers in Nevada, both on mobile sports betting apps and within casinos.

UNLV Gaming reports that last year, Nevada casinos made more money from betting on professional and college football than any other sport.

Typically, sports bettors place more money on pro and college football annually than any other sports. However, last year was an exception for the sports that bettors in Nevada wagered on.

For the first time in years, slightly more money was bet on basketball than football. Despite this, football bets still brought in more profits for sportsbooks.

The company is promoting the new Caesars Sports app, boasting a wider betting menu. It will feature an expanded range of live betting options and same-game parlays.

Same-game parlays, which are bets that encompass multiple outcomes for a single game, can be found nationwide, although they are less frequently seen in Nevada. The name is quite self-explanatory.

For instance, a same-game parlay for the Las Vegas Raiders might consist of the following:

  • Victory for the Raiders
  • The total points needed to exceed
  • Derek Carr tosses five touchdown passes.
  • Darren Waller is catching 10 passes.

Punters nationwide are delighting in same-game parlays. The ability to place multiple bets at a single price for their preferred team enhances the excitement of watching the games.

Caesars is eager to release the latest version of its app as soon as possible. This could potentially enable the company to earn more revenue than the current version due to the new wagering options.
